Privacy Policy

Wevro is a local-first collaborative trip-planning app. Most information stays on your device. Shared trip information is stored in Apple's iCloud through CloudKit so accepted participants can collaborate.

Information Wevro handles

Wevro may handle your Apple-provided app identifier, display name, internal traveler identifier, trip details, membership roles, ideas, activities, stays, places, schedules, votes, shared alarms, and the information you deliberately enter into a shared trip.

Private budgets, preferences, route caches, local alarm state, purchase-entitlement status, and privacy-limited widget snapshots are designed to remain on your device.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate you, store and synchronize trips, support group collaboration, provide maps and directions, schedule alarms and reminders, restore Premium access, maintain service security, and respond to support or legal requests.

Wevro does not use your information for third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, data-broker profiling, or sale.

Apple services and shared trips

Wevro uses Sign in with Apple, iCloud and CloudKit, MapKit, StoreKit, AlarmKit, notifications, WidgetKit, and ActivityKit. Apple processes information used by those services under its own agreements and privacy terms.

Accepted trip participants can access information in a CloudKit share according to their permissions. Share trips only with people you trust, and do not place highly sensitive information in trip notes or confirmation fields.

Retention and your choices

Local data is generally kept until you delete it, sign out, delete account data, or remove the app, depending on where the information is stored. CloudKit data remains until the owner removes the trip or account-data deletion completes. Keychain items may survive app removal.

Edit your display name and trip information in the app.
Change alarm and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Manage or leave shared trips through available Wevro and Apple controls.
Use the in-app account-data deletion flow when it is available in the release build.

Security and children

Apple protects CloudKit using account-based access controls and encryption in transit and at rest. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so protect your device, Apple Account, passcode, and share links.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and Wevro does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13.
